	"MY RIFLE" - The creed of a United States Marine
	As 2007 ends, ALL members of Detachment 1049 Rifle & Pistol Team would like to extend an open invitation to all members of the Marine Corps League to come and join us for next years matches.
	Next years matches will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA in May/June and September 2008.
	Pistols: .45 ACP Government Model 1911A, 1911A1, .38 Special 6 shot revolver Model 10, 12 & 13 M&P, 9mm Beretta 92S or 92F. Adjustable sights are permitted. However, no exterior modifications, including grips are allowed.
	Rifles: Springfield Models 1903, 1903A1 & 1903A3, M-1 Garand, M-14, M-14A1 (M1A1) and M-16 (AR-15). Only metallic sights can be used in the match.
	During 2007, Detachment 1049's Rifle and Pistol Team had five individuals compete in the pistol match held in June. In September, we had five individuals compete in the Rifle Match. In October, the pistol team completed firing in the Marine Corps League Postal Pistol Match. (see below for match results)
	We would like to have enough Marines to come out and compete in order to produce two Detachment Rifle & Pistol Teams. Remember, ALL Members are WELCOME.
